Hotel Poseidon is a small friendly 3 star family owned hotel, built in the 1880s and situated in the heart of Gothenburg's city centre. Newly renovated, we offer first class accommodation in 49 nicely furnished rooms.

Welcome to Hotel Poseidon
Right in the city centre in the heart of Gothenburg amongst restaurants, pubs, theatres, museums and shops you find the Hotel Poseidon. A friendly, quaint family owned hotel built in the 1880s, totally refurbished in 2005-2006.
Hotel Poseidon's rooms are all non-smoking, but for those how would like to smoke there is a smoking room on the first floor.

Hotel Poseidon is located in a quiet street, yet just a few minutes’ walk away from all that Gothenburg has to offer. Everything is right on the doorstep: shops, restaurants, pubs, theaters, museums, casino, operas, gardens and an amusement park.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged SEK 280.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible on streets nearby (reservation is needed) and costs SEK 150.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
